Executive Summary
Okay, so you're looking to get into some potentially lucrative crypto airdrops without spending any actual cash, right? This is all about farming three free testnet airdrops: Aztec Network, Miden, and Camp Network. We'll go through what they are, why they're interesting (especially according to Martin, the presenter), and exactly how to get involved step-by-step. The goal is to position yourself for free tokens if and when these projects launch them!
Here's the lowdown on each:
Aztec Network
Aztec Network is building what it calls the first privacy network on Ethereum, using something called NoirLang. It's essentially a private ZK (Zero-Knowledge) rollup built on Ethereum, which means it aims to bring both privacy and better scalability to decentralized applications (dApps). Think secure and private transactions on the Ethereum network.
- Funding & Backers:
- They've raked in a hefty $119 million in funding.
- Big names like A16Z (Andreessen Horowitz), Hashkey Capital, and even Coinbase Ventures are backing them. Vitalik Buterin (co-founder of Ethereum) has also been associated with or shown interest in the project.
- Why it's interesting (Martin's take):
- This project isn't brand new, but it's recently been getting a lot of buzz on "X" (formerly Twitter), especially with talk about an upcoming token.
- The $119 million in funding is seriously impressive and signals strong backing, making it definitely worth paying attention to.
- How to Farm the Airdrop (Step-by-Step):
- Create an Aztec Account: Head over to
play.aztec.network/alpha-testnet/
and set up an account.- Heads up: The testnet can get congested, so transactions might take a while or even fail. Just be patient if you run into this.
- Get an Obsidian Wallet: Create a new wallet specifically for Aztec at
app.obsidion.xyz
. - Connect Wallets: Go to
bridge.human.tech
to link your regular EVM wallet (like MetaMask) with the Obsidian wallet you just created. - Get Sepolia Testnet ETH: You'll need some Sepolia testnet ETH. You can get this from a faucet like
alchemy.com/faucets/ethereum-sepolia
.- Important Note: This faucet usually requires your wallet to have a minimum of 0.001 ETH on the Ethereum mainnet to prevent bots.
- Bridge Tokens: Once you have testnet ETH, go back to
bridge.human.tech
and bridge some of those tokens from the Sepolia network over to the Aztec network. - Explore the Ecosystem & Interact: Visit
aztec.network/ecosystem
to see the dApps building on Aztec.- Example Interaction: Go to Raven House (
app.ravenhouse.xyz
).- Connect your wallet.
- Click "Create Collection."
- Fill in the details (e.g., collection name "Alpha Drop," symbol "Alpha"), upload an image, and deploy your own NFT collection on the Aztec testnet.
- Example Interaction: Go to Raven House (
- Optional - Run a Node: For those more technically inclined, you can run an Aztec node.
- Martin personally isn't doing this but mentions it could potentially improve your airdrop chances. You can find guides on their official documentation.
- Create an Aztec Account: Head over to
- Key Terms Explained:
- ZK Rollup (Zero-Knowledge Rollup): A Layer 2 scaling solution. It bundles many transactions together off the main Ethereum chain and then uses fancy math (zero-knowledge proofs) to prove to the main chain that these transactions are valid, all without revealing the transaction details themselves. This helps with speed, cost, and privacy.
- NoirLang: A programming language specifically designed for creating zero-knowledge proofs, which are central to how Aztec provides privacy.
- Testnet: A copy of a blockchain used for testing. Transactions use "fake" money, so it's risk-free.
- Faucet: A website that gives out free testnet tokens.
- dApp: A decentralized application that runs on a blockchain.
Miden
Miden is another project focused on bringing privacy and scalability to Ethereum. It's a ZK rollup Layer 2 blockchain specifically designed for private and scalable smart contracts.
- Funding & Backers:
- They've secured $25 million in funding.
- Investors include A16Z, HackVC, Sandeep Nailwal (co-founder of Polygon), and P2P Ventures.
- Why it's interesting (Martin's take):
- It's a Layer 2 project that hasn't been overly hyped or "shilled" yet, which can be a good sign.
- The funding amount is decent, and Martin and his team have been monitoring this project for a while.
- How to Farm the Airdrop (Step-by-Step):
- Install Miden Wallet: Add the Miden wallet extension to your Chrome browser (link usually found on their site or through a trusted source).
- Use the Faucet: Go to the Miden faucet (
faucet.testnet.miden.io
). Enter your Miden wallet address to receive testnet tokens. - Create Activity: Send some of the received testnet tokens to random addresses. This helps simulate real usage.
- Explore the Ecosystem: Visit the official Miden website (
miden.xyz
), navigate to their "ecosystem" section, and check out the projects building there. Interact with them if possible.
- Key Terms Explained:
- Layer 2 (L2): A protocol built on top of a main blockchain (Layer 1, like Ethereum) to make it faster and cheaper.
- Smart Contracts: Programs stored on a blockchain that automatically execute when certain conditions are met.
(Around this point in the video, there's a quick mention of a giveaway for viewers who like the video, comment "Alpha Army," and sign up on airdroplet.com with their email.)
Camp Network
Camp Network is described as a Layer 2 (though sometimes referred to as an L1) that aims to let users monetize their digital identity using off-chain engagement data. Essentially, it wants to aggregate and reward your social activity from various platforms.
- Funding & Backers:
- They've raised $29 million and have a valuation of $400 million.
- Backed by notable firms like Blockchain Capital and OKX Ventures.
- Why it's interesting (Martin's take):
- While not explicitly detailed in terms of personal opinion beyond its inclusion, its unique focus on monetizing social data and strong backing make it noteworthy.
- How to Farm the Airdrop (Step-by-Step):
- Add Network & Get Testnet Tokens:
- Add the Camp Network to your EVM wallet (like MetaMask).
- Request testnet tokens from their faucet:
faucet.campnetwork.xyz
by entering your wallet address.
- Bridge Funds: Use their bridge (
camp-testnet-v2-4e2d4872757efbdd.testnets.rollbridge.app
) to transfer funds from the Sepolia network (you'll likely need Sepolia ETH for this, obtained from a faucet as mentioned with Aztec). - Deploy a Contract: Head over to a service like Onchain GM (
onchaingm.com
) to easily deploy a simple smart contract. Martin selected "Base" as the network for this step in the example, but you'd be doing this on Camp's testnet. - Explore the Ecosystem: Check out projects in the Camp Ecosystem.
- Visit
loyalty.campnetwork.xyz/home
andecosystem.campnetwork.xyz
. - Play around with the dApps listed there.
- Visit
- Add Network & Get Testnet Tokens:
- Key Terms Explained:
- Off-chain engagement data: Your activities on platforms that aren't directly on a blockchain, like social media posts, likes, etc. Camp Network aims to bring value to this data.
General Takeaways:
- These are all testnet airdrops, meaning you're using test tokens with no real-world value. The goal is to interact with the network early, hoping to be rewarded with real tokens if the project launches an airdrop to early users.
- Airdrop farming can be time-consuming, and there's no guarantee of reward, but since these are free (no investment beyond time), they can be worth exploring.
- Following the steps of bridging, using dApps, and deploying simple contracts are common ways to increase your interaction footprint on these testnets.

Welcome to Alpha Drop, my name is Martin. Today we're going to be talking about three airdrops everyone should be farming right now. These airdrops are all going to be free and I'm going to be taking you into a step-by-step guide on how you can farm them. I'll also let you guys know why I'm farming these projects and why I like them. And somewhere along the video, we're going to be doing a Solana giveaway, some free money to you guys. So make sure you stay tuned to the end, alright? So I'm in a really great mood. I hope you guys are having a great day so far. Make sure you're following me on X and of course the team as well. Check out airdroplet.com, our very own crypto website, but more on this later. Let's get straight to the content you're here for. Alright, the first project we're going to be talking about is Aztec Network. Building the first privacy network on Ethereum designed for secure and private transactions, powered by Norlang. Aztec Network is a private ZK rollup based on Ethereum, enabling decentralized applications to access privacy and scalability. This is their official website over here. They've raised a total of $119 million. Investors include A16Z, Hashkey Capital, and others. You can even see the man Vitalik himself over here and Coinbase Ventures. Okay, so here's my personal opinion about Aztec. Now, this project is certainly old, but it's nice to see it picking up momentum in X right now. There's a lot of people talking about it moving forward with their token that's coming up. Of course, with $119 million, the funds here are solid and the investment is really impressive. So it's definitely worth paying attention to. Alright, so to start farming this airdrop, click on the link down below. Make sure you see Aztec Testnet over here. And then just click on Create Account. Now, that should be done. You should have your account right over here. And just a side note, guys. At the time of this recording, the Testnet is congested. So transactions may take longer or may be dropped. So if you see the same thing going on in your screen, just be aware of that. Okay, now that we have our account ready, let's go ahead and create an Obsidian wallet. Now that we got our wallet created, what we are going to do is connect our EVM wallet. So our MetaMask wallet together with the Obsidian wallet we just created. So let's go to bridge.human.tech and do that. Now that I got my EVM wallet connected, what we are going to do next is connect the Obsidian wallet as well. So we're just going to click over here. You'll see a pop-up on your screen and then just hit the Connect button. Now, as we wait for that, let's go ahead to Ethereum Sepolia Faucet to get some Testnet tokens. So just enter in your wallet address over here and collect some free Sepolia Testnet tokens. Just a reminder, to prevent bots and abuse, this faucet requires a minimum Ethereum mainnet balance of 0.001 ETH on the wallet address being used. All right, so go ahead and click on the Send Me ETH button to get your Testnet tokens. And by the way, guys, if you do not have 0.001 ETH, just leave a comment. I'll pick five people and give you some. All right, that's $3, which I'm willing to give away. And speaking of giveaway, we're going to be doing one in a bit. But anyways, since that is done, what you want to do is come back over here and bridge some tokens. Now, next step is to go ahead to Aztec.network.com to explore the Aztec ecosystem. And you can see over here, they have a lot going on. A bunch of dApps you can play around with. For this video, let's go ahead to Raven House. Now that we're on Raven House, let's connect our wallet and click on Create Collection. Now we're just going to deploy an NFT on the Aztec network. And I'm going to go ahead and create one with you. I'm just going to do Alpha Drop for the collection name, for the collection symbol. I'm just going to go with Alpha. I just uploaded a photo of our banner over here. And now that I've finished filling up all the information, I'm just going to Create Collection. And boom, there we go. So I'm just going to skip the steps over here and then Launch Collection. All right, guys, now that we are done and our collection is launched, you can also choose to run a node. Now, personally, I will not be doing this, but I will leave a link in the description if you do choose to run a node yourself. Just a quick side note that this will probably help with the airdrop. But me personally, I'm just going to back out from this one, all right? Just putting it out there. So that is it for Aztec network. Now, let's just take a little short break before we continue on the second project. Really quickly, let's talk about today's giveaway. All right, so exclusively on this video, if you are watching to this point, you are officially qualified for our giveaway. All you have to do is give this video a like, drop down a comment saying Alpha Army, go to airdroplet.com, head over to the memberships, and input your email address. We'll be picking one of you guys who do all the steps and announce the winner in our future videos and in our live stream. All right, second project we're going to be talking about is Myden. They've raised a total of $25 million, and investors include A16Z, HackVC, Sandeep Naywal, P2 Ventures, and more. So, Myden is a ZK roll-up L2 blockchain built on top of Ethereum, providing private, scalable smart contracts. I'll leave a link to the website down below so you can see the roadmap and do some of your own research about them. So, why I like this airdrop is fairly simple. This is a layer 2 without much shilling, and they've raised a decent amount of money, and the team and I have actually been keeping an eye on this project. So, to start, click on the link down below so you can add this extension to your Chrome and install the wallet. All right, guys, now that you're over here in the Myden faucet, what you want to do is enter in your wallet address from that Myden wallet, and send the received tokens to random addresses. Next thing is to go back to Myden.xyz official website, click on ecosystem, and explore all of the projects over here. It's as simple as that. Now, airdrop number 3 is Camp Network, the autonomous IP Layer 1 blockchain. Backed by Blockchain Capital, OKX Ventures, and more. They've raised a total of $29 million and have a valuation of $400 million. Camp Network is a layer 2 that lets users monetize digital identity through off-chain engagement data. Designed to aggregate and reward social activity across platforms. So, the very first step is to click the link down below and add the network and request testnet tokens. Now, just enter your wallet address over here and request faucet. Now that you got the testnet tokens, what you want to do is use the bridge to transfer funds from the Sapolia network. All right, so just click on continue and get that done. Next thing, what we want to do is head over to on-chain GM and deploy a contract. All right, so I'm going to go ahead with base. And boom, that's it. Now, last but not least is to explore their Camp Ecosystem projects. So, play around with all of these guys. Check it out. Let me know which ones you guys like most. There's some familiar names over here. But that's pretty much it to this airdrop. Let me know what you guys think down below. Drop down a comment if you have any problems. I'll get back to you guys and the community will help you as well. Check it out. For more information, head over to airdrop.com. And of course, make sure you're following us on X as well. But that's pretty much the end of this video. Give this video a like if you found it helpful. Drop down a comment on what other projects you guys want to see us cover next. With that being said, guys, I hope you have a profitable rest of your day. My name is Martin. Check these two videos out if you want to watch some more crypto content. But I'll see you in the next one. Peace.
