Executive Summary
This guide dives deep into farming the potential Monad airdrop by interacting with its testnet. It covers multiple ways to get free Monad testnet tokens and features guest Jimbo explaining five specific projects you can use right now to boost your eligibility, including decentralized exchanges, lending protocols, and even meme coin creation platforms.
Here's a breakdown of what's covered:
Getting Monad Testnet Tokens (MON):
- Finding reliable sources for testnet MON is crucial to start interacting.
- Talentum Faucet: A recommended faucet because it's reliable and gives 0.3 MON every 24 hours without many errors experienced so far. This is presented as a more dependable option than the official Monad testnet faucet.
- Mozi Finance Faucet: Another source mentioned for acquiring testnet tokens.
- Atlantis Dex Faucet Hack: This involves using the Atlantis Dex faucet to mint various testnet tokens, swapping them all into Atlantis tokens (ATL presumably), and then swapping those ATL tokens into MON. It's presented as a clever workaround to get more MON.
- The presenter hints there are more ways to get tokens coming soon.
Jimbo's Alpha - Interacting with Monad dApps:
Jimbo, described as a crypto OG and airdrop expert, shares five specific platforms on the Monad testnet to interact with:
- OctoSwap:
- This is a Decentralized Exchange (DEX) built only on Monad, which is seen as a positive point compared to multi-chain DEXs like Velodrome.
- You can swap assets, like swapping testnet MON for Yaki.
- You can provide liquidity by pairing tokens (e.g., MON and Yaki) and adding them to a liquidity pool.
- Future features mentioned include games and minting an 'OctoID', but they are marked as 'coming soon'.
- Kinza Finance:
- This is a borrowing and lending protocol.
- You can supply assets (like MON) to earn interest (though interest isn't the focus here, interaction is).
- After supplying, you can borrow other assets (like USDC). The amount you can borrow depends on the value of the assets you supplied (your collateral).
- There's a dashboard to track your supplied and borrowed amounts.
- The emphasis is on trying it out since it's testnet money (no real financial risk).
- EstMonad (Shmonad):
- This is a liquid staking protocol, similar to Magma (which was apparently covered previously by Martin).
- You stake your testnet MON tokens.
- In return, you receive EstMonad tokens, which represent your staked MON but can potentially be used elsewhere (that's the 'liquid' part).
- After staking, you need to go to the 'Commit' tab, select a policy (doesn't matter which), and commit the EstMonad tokens you received.
- Flap:
- A platform for creating and trading meme coins on the Monad testnet.
- You can browse existing meme coins (like 'MOSI') and buy/sell them using your testnet MON.
- You can also create your own meme coin by providing a name, ticker symbol, image (optional description), and launching it.
- Jimbo demonstrates creating an 'Alpha Turtle' (ATL) token.
- After creation, you can buy your own newly created token.
- Nextmate:
- A predictions market platform, similar to Polymarket.
- You can bet on the future price direction (up or down) of assets like Ethereum within a specific timeframe.
- You can also create your own prediction markets.
Deploying a Smart Contract:
- EZNode: A simple tool recommended for deploying a basic smart contract on the Monad testnet.
- You connect your wallet, choose a simple contract type (like 'counter' or 'symbol token').
- Ensure your wallet is set to the Monad testnet network.
- Click 'deploy your contract'. This is often considered a valuable interaction for airdrop eligibility.
Loot Go - Gamified Interaction:
- Loot Go is presented as a free, mobile 'walk-to-earn' game connected to Monad.
- It functions similarly to Pokemon Go, using your location.
- Instead of catching Pokemon, you find and open treasure chests on a map.
- Opening chests rewards you with testnet MON tokens and various meme coins.
- The presenter shows their portfolio accumulated just from opening chests.
- The beta phase is closing soon, and a giveaway for one beta pass code is announced via a linked post.
Overall Goal:
The underlying goal of all these actions (getting tokens, swapping, lending, staking, creating meme coins, deploying contracts, playing Loot Go) is to create a history of interaction with the Monad testnet ecosystem. This activity pattern is what many believe will make users eligible for a potential future MON token airdrop when the main network launches.

What's up everyone? Welcome to Alpha Drop. We're in with another Monad video today. If you watched our previous video, we talked about the urgent tasks you have to complete for Monad. Now in this video, we're going to be joined by a special guest that's going to be sharing five more Monad interactions with you. I'm also going to be sharing three ways you can get Mon Testnet tokens. And if you stick to the end of this video, I'm going to be giving one lucky winner early access to Loot Go. Loot Go is a free walk to earn mobile game. Turn your daily life into a treasure hunt. Part of the Monad madness. All right, I've been playing with this for about a week now and it's completely legit, but more about Loot Go at the end of this video. Now before our special guest comes in and shares his Monad alpha with us, let's first get ourselves some Mon tokens. I'll leave all the resources in the links down below. The first one I'm going to share with you is Talentum. We actually talked about this in our live stream before, but this is a really reliable way to get 0.3 Mon tokens every 24 hours. This faucet does not have any errors so far for me. And I find this one for me personally, way more reliable than the actual Testnet faucet by Monad itself. So link down below for Talentum. Nextly is Mosey Finance. And lastly is going to be Atlantis Dex. This is a hack to get Monad tokens. All you have to do is mint all of this over here and then swap all the tokens into Atlantis and then swap the Atlantis tokens that you have into Mon tokens. So these are just a bunch of ways I get myself Mon tokens. There's a bunch more that I'll share with you soon. So make sure you subscribe with the bell notifications on. But now that we have some Mon tokens to play with, let's go ahead and bring in the alpha. All right. So joining with us today is Jimbo's Crypto. He's gained a following talking about airdrops, tutorial guides, and more. He's been around in the crypto space for a very long time, much longer than I have. He's spoken in multiple events. Hopefully, we can have a face-to-face collab in Dubai for Token 2049. Available in all platforms like TikTok, Instagram, and Discord. Make sure you're following him on X. And also make sure you check out his website down below as well. He's an OG viewer of the channel. And it's so nice of him that he's been supporting us since the early days of Alpha Drop. So let's welcome Jimbo and what he has for us. So guys, let's start with OctoSwap. Here, this decentralized exchange is built only on Monad. And I really like this. Not like Velodrome, for example, that is multi-chain. And here you can swap between your assets like all the other decentralized exchanges. Let's say start from Monad to Yaki. And we're swapping 0.1 Monad tokens to Yaki. Then you can enter some liquidity, scroll down, find your pair for me. It's the Monad and Yaki. Click on it, put the amount you'd like, and add liquidity for OctoSwap. In your profile section, you can play some games and mint your OctoID, but not for now. Both are coming soon. Next application is Kinza Finance. This is a borrow lending protocol. So here on the Markets tab, you can supply some assets. I'm choosing Monad. And here, I will click on supply. And you can supply some amount of Monads. Let's say 0.5. Now that I have supplied some amount of Monad, I'm scrolling down and I'm clicking on USDC. And I can borrow some amount. So click on the borrow, choose the amount you want. The maximum amount depends on the amount that you've already deposited, as we call it, the collateral. So for example, let's say we borrow two USDC here. And on the dashboard tab, you can monitor your supplies on the left and your borrows on the right. We're talking about tested money. So go ahead and try it. Next is a liquid stake protocol called EstMonad. It's exactly like Magma, which Martin has already present you. We need to just stake our tested Monad tokens. Let's say for example, 0. And we're taking back the EstMonad tokens. Once you complete your liquid stake income here on the commit tab here, select the policy. Doesn't really matter which one. And put here the amount of EstMonad that you just stake and commit this amount. Now let's explore a platform called Flap, where you can create and trade meme coins. First of all, on the trading tab, scroll down, choose any token of this that you really like and click on it. This is called MOSI. So here enter the amount that you really want to invest. This is tested money. Don't worry. For example, 0.2. Click on buy. Same goes for selling. If you have already bought it, you can sell it in the same way easily. And now on the create tab, you can create your own token. Just give it a name, a ticker, an image, a short description. This is optional and create your coin. I just uploaded the turtle. I named it Alpha Turtle. I gave it a ticker. This is the image and I'm clicking on the create. Here you choose the amount of ATL. This is my new token that I want to buy. For example, 1. And I click, I say go big and it is over. Now switching gears to a predictions market called Nextmate. This is exactly like following market, but we will do this on Monad. So you can create your own market here. For now, let's choose any of these. For example, this for Ethereum. This is the amount of time you need to decide if the Ethereum price will be up or down for this price. Very easy. Choose any of this and drop your vote. Lastly, we're going to deploy a contract on EZNode. Here you just need to connect, choose either counter or symbol token or both. Make sure to be on the Monad testnet, click on deploy your contract and you're ready to go. That was it for my side for today's Monad tutorial. Back to you, Martin. And as Ron says, Sonnenau. All right. Thank you so much for that, Jimbo. So let's quickly talk about Loot Go right now. So Loot Go is a treasure hunt game, very similar to Pokemon Go. Actually, there's a bunch of treasure quests that you can open. And when you open these chests, you get Mon tokens as rewards and also some meme coins as well. So the mechanics of this game works very much like Pokemon Go. Instead of Pokemon that you're catching, it's treasure chests. And when you open the treasure chests, you get your rewards. All right. So as you can see, I got that right there. And let's just open this last one and see if I get anything special. Looks like I just got some tickets and some more Mon tokens. We'll take it. We'll take it. So here are the rewards that are live right now in the chests. And if you quickly go to my portfolio, you will see that this is what I have so far just from opening the chests alone. But the beta phase is closing, guys, and it's going to end soon. So just click the giveaway post in the description. I'm going to be giving one beta pass code away if you're interested. And yeah, that's it for Loot Go. All right, guys, that's the end of this video. I hope you enjoyed. Thanks for sticking to the end of this one. Check these two videos out if you want to watch some more crypto content. I hope you have a profitable rest of your day. My name is Martin. Peace.
